This blog is a series of posts of the translated notes of a sister, Mona Hubbi, of the WASILA community (an organization in Kuwait for English-speaking Muslim women, that hosts lectures, potlucks etc.) who attended a lecture series, “How to Taste the True Beauty of Salat” presented by Mishari Al Kharraz at the Grand Mosque, Kuwait- Summer 2008.
These are actually a short summary of her Arabic notes, which she then translated to English. Obviously, it was not possible for her to get down every word, and she was especially cautious in noting ahadith for fear of misquoting.
The sister has graciously requested that others share her notes so that inshaAllah more people will benefit from them. This is especially helpful for those who do not get much opportunity to attend such events.
